Itinerary

When you arrive in Cairo for your 15-day Nile cruise between Cairo and Aswan, one of our tour leaders will be waiting for you at the airport. He will transport you to the cruise ship in a state-of-the-art, air-conditioned car that is immaculate. You will board the boat and be assisted with check-in once you arrive. Later in the evening, our tour operator will check you in and then depart. Get some sleep and have a nice meal on board because tomorrow is going to be a thrilling day!

After breakfast, you'll visit the Giza Plateau, where you can see the Valley Temple, Sphinx, and Giza Pyramids. Then, visit the Egyptian Museum, where you can see King Tutankhamun's tomb artifacts. The New Kingdom masterpieces are also on display. After a relaxing cruise, enjoy a cocktail and Takht before returning to your Cairo cabin.

There aren't any planned excursions for your Nile cruise from Cairo to Aswan today. Rather, your cruise ship will depart from Cairo early in the morning, and you will travel to Beni Suif over the course of the next 12 hours.

You are cordially invited to this afternoon's very exciting show on board the ship. The boat will arrive in Beni Suif in the evening, and you will spend the night at sea.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast on board, as per usual. You will then be taken to Fayoum after that. When you arrive, your first stop will be the pyramids of Dahshur; after that, you'll visit Maydom, another impressive pyramid. There is plenty to see at each of these locations, so don't forget to bring your camera. The journey from Beni Suif, where your cruise ship is berthed, to Fayoum takes approximately thirty minutes.

You will be returned to the cruise ship where you can spend the remainder of the day as you please after seeing these two location

On the fifth day of your enchanted Nile cruise from Cairo to Luxor, you can cruise to Minya while sipping drinks, lounging in the sun, or swimming in the pool. On board the ship, there will also be an entertaining treasure hunt game for those who are interested.

You will again spend the night in your ship-themed lodging when your cruise ship anchors in Minya in the evening.

You will get off the boat this morning after breakfast and be driven to Tuna El Gebel, an ancient necropolis. There is a lot to see here, including the border steles, several catacombs, and an ancient tomb that belonged to a fourth-century high priest. After that, you'll be brought to Ashmunein, an ancient city that is currently just a collection of ruins.

You will go on another excursion, this time to the Beni Hassan tombs, which house the tombs of Baqet III, Khety, Amenemhet, and Khnumhotep II, after returning to the boat for lunch and some relaxation.

After touring the Beni Hassan tombs, you will return to the cruise ship and have some time to unwind before dinner is served

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast by the sea while traveling to Tel El Amarna. The Great Palace of King Akhenaten, the Lesser and Greater Aten Temples, the tombs of Meryre, Pentu, Panehesy, and the royal tomb of Akhenaten will all be visited on this fascinating tour after you arrive.

After this 2.5-hour excursion, you will return to the boat, and it will sail towards Assyut, where it will anchor overnight in front of Prince Tawdrous's magnificent monastery. Savor the stunning vistas and yet another peaceful evening by the lake.

After another filling breakfast on day eight of your Cairo to Aswan Nile cruise, relax and continue cruising to Sohag. There will be a traditional lunch and dinner on board, followed in the evening by a black and white party. Tonight you are going to sleep on the Nile in Sohag.

Your cruise will depart Sohag and head to Balyana at breakfast time today. After disembarking at El Balyana, you'll be driven to the historic Abydos temple. After spending some time exploring this location, return to the boat and ride it to Qena via the stunning Naga Hammadi bridges.

After an amazing contest party on board tonight, you will spend the night in Qena on the Nile.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all included.

Following breakfast, you will disembark from the boat and travel 20 minutes to the stunning, 2,000-year-old Dandarah Temple. After spending some time exploring this incredible location, return to the cruise ship and set out for Luxor.

Spend the afternoon however you please. There will also be a belly dance show, which is open to all travelers. The tenth night of your Nile cruise from Cairo to Aswan will be spent in Luxor on the river.

After breakfast, you'll visit the Valley of the Kings and the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, two impressive archaeological sites in ancient Egypt. Over 60 tombs, including King Tutankhamun's, are on display, but tickets are limited. The temple of Queen Hatshepsut, carved from rock, is also a must-see. After visiting, you'll return to the cruise ship for the rest of the day.

After breakfast, you'll explore Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. After a visit to Karnak, you'll have time to take pictures. After lunch, the ship will leave Luxor and head to Edfu for a night at sea. All passengers are invited to the Galabya party for entertainment.

After breakfast, disembark the boat and visit the best-preserved ancient temple in Egypt, Edfu. The boat then heads to Aswan, stopping at Kom Ombo, a temple honoring Sobek and Horus. Enjoy the spectacular site before joining the cruise ship for Aswan.

After breakfast, you'll visit the Aswan High Dam and the Temple of Philae, an impressive ancient site in Aswan. After lunch, you'll visit the Nubian Museum. The final night of your Nile cruise will be spent on the river in Aswan, with a Nubian folklore show on board.

You will leave the hotel and disembark shortly after breakfast, and one of our leaders will accompany you to the airport in Aswan so that you can catch a flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, your guide will be there to welcome you back. He will then accompany you to the international departure terminal where he will say goodbye and help you catch your flight home. This concludes your 15-day cruise on the Nile from Cairo to Aswan.
